The Division II State Championship in Michigan was a thriller between Chelsea High School and Dexter High School. Ultimately, Chelsea came out on top of a 1-0 scoreline. In fact, Chelsea pulled off an upset to earn the title. Going into the playoffs, Dexter was the #1 seed in Division II and Chelsea was #2.

While Dexter dominated first round opponents including Mercy High School (4-0), Skyline High School (8-0), and Fr. Gabriel Richard High School (5-0), Chelsea played in closer games throughout the post-season, such as competitions against Grosse Pointe (2-0), University Liggett School (2-1), and Detroit Country Day School (3-0). Nevertheless, the Chelsea Bulldogs performed when it mattered to clinch the 2024 DII title.
