We are back with another season of high school highlights! Each week we will choose the Top 5 highlights from high school field hockey games across the country. Here’s what we have for week 1:
- Abby Zerbe reverse flicks the ball over the goalkeeper to senior Laura Crocona, who bats the ball into the cage in the Wilson Westlawn versus Mannheim Township contest.
- Addison Lamb cuts through circle traffic to finish on net against Arundel High School. This junior is ready to make big contributions to her Severn team!
- A critical save by Longstreth/OBO Ambassador, Maddie McKenney, for Methacton High School against Perkiomen Valley. The Kent State commit came to play for her senior season.
- Longstreth/TK Ambassador, Madison Falkowski, has her first varsity start and first varsity goal. A left baseline entry and a low-angle shot found the back of the net for the freshman.
- Gabriella Romain scores for Middletown Area High School over Milton Hershey. This first-half goal would eventually be the deciding goal in Middletown’s 1-0 victory.
