Every year around Giving Tuesday, our team enjoys spotlighting a team in need of new gear. This year we received many submissions including one from Lackawanna Trail High School in Factoryville, PA.
Varsity Field Hockey Coach, Holly Calvin reached out stating, “Our school is a small rural school with limited funds. We are in need of so much, but that doesn’t stop us from improvising and working hard. We still play on a grass field, have uniforms that are a few years old, and would graciously accept any additional field hockey equipment or apparel offered to us.”
As one of our Giving Tuesday recipients, the team received brand-new Mizuno Wave Lynx Turf Shoes for every player on the team! Seeing these photos reminds us why this initiative matters. Their gratitude, dedication, and love for the game are truly inspiring and we can’t wait to watch them this upcoming season with their new turf shoes!
