Moses Brown School captured the Rhode Island Division I State Championship with a 4-1 win over East Greenwich High School, maintaining their undefeated status for the 2024 high school season.
The Moses Brown Quakers had beaten East Greenwich three times already this season going into the final game. Last season, East Greenwich upset and outlasted the Quakers in double-overtime to take the State Championship, but they did not get the best of Moses Brown this season.
The score was tied 1-1 in the first quarter, and in a back-and-forth 60 minutes, Moses Brown came out on top thanks to impressive defense and goals from Vivian Stone, Kat Gauvin, and Goose Brousseau. This game was a fight until the very end, featuring two amazing teams.
