MAX Field Hockey is excited to announce the release of the Final High School Regional Top 20 and National Top 25 Rankings for the 2025 season. Congratulations to all teams recognized for their outstanding achievements, including the newly crowned National Champions, Academy of Notre Dame de Namur (Villanova, Pennsylvania).

The Irish capped off a remarkable season with a 21-1 record, securing both the PAISAA Championship and their fourth straight Inter-AC title. They outscored opponents 133-18 across the year and earned 10 victories over Top 25 teams, cementing their place at the top of the national standings.

Notre Dame’s only loss came on October 1, 2024, in a tight 0-1 battle against The Hill School (Pottstown, Pennsylvania), the 2024 National Champions. The Irish responded in dominant fashion, defeating Hill 3-0 in the PAISAA semifinals to avenge last year’s championship loss.

In the PAISAA final, junior UNC commit Maeve McGinley, one of the nation’s top ranked players, delivered the game-winner in the closing minutes to lift the Irish to a 1-0 victory over The Episcopal Academy. The win secured Notre Dame’s second PAISAA title in the last three years and officially closed their season as the top team in the country.
