Every superstar senior hailing from the West/Midwest Region had an incredible season with her respective high school. In fact, every single one came in the top 3 in the state finals. Two athletes from Texas are represented, Eliza Perrin and Caroline Raynes. In the Texas State Finals, Perrin and St. John’s School defeated Raynes and The Kinkaid School after each had impressive runs in 2024. Out of Pioneer High School in Michigan, Lily Soldan won the Division I State Championship on her way to receiving honors as an All-American and State Player of the Year. Reese Anetsberger and her Glenbrook High School team finished third in the state of Illinois, and Reese became Illinois’ All-Time leading scorer with 125 goals in her career. In Missouri, Sarah Ding and her John Burroughs High School team reached the state finals. Another state champion, Sophia Grimm, will also showcase her talent at the Proving Grounds this July after being named the Avocado League Player of the Year and receiving All-West Region honors.
