Fun Facts:

What stick do you use and why?
I use the ROBO Fatboy goalie stick. I chose this stick because I like how solid it is, so when I make my saves with it, I can trust that I can control it and that it will have a nice rebound off of it. I also like it because even though it is solid and bigger, it isn't heavier than any other stick.

What legguards/kickers do you use?
I use OBO ROBO HI Control Legguards. I use these because I enjoy how the ROBO pads fit me, and I chose the Hi-Control ones because they fit my playing style better. I like being able to control the ball a bit more, so I can be purposeful with where I put the ball.
I use the OBO ROBO Plus KickersLongs because I really enjoy the rebound that they give, as well as control. Also, I feel having the square toe kicker is such an advantage to me because it gives you more control if you need to clear the ball fast, it gives you a more reliable save surface, and a little extra from on the end which sometimes is all you need to make the save.

How long have you been playing and what made you want to be a gk?
I have been playing field hockey for 10 years and have been a goalie for 9. Since I started being a goalie young part of the reason was because at that age I didn't like running and it is much different now I like running and do just as much as the field players, but I also chose it because I just felt that it fit me and who I was as a person and to me being a goalie was always more fun and still is to this day.

Any pre-game rituals?
Yes and no, One that is definitely a pre game ritual is I eat an unsweetened apple sauce and it has to be the ones from Aldi. Other than that, I don't have anything that I do, but I like everything to be the same.

Go-to pre-game day hairstyle?
When my hair is long a low ponytail braid and when my hair is short a low bun.

Describe your playing style in 3 words?
Calculated, calm, confident

What do you like to do when you’re not on the field?
I like to hang out with friends, doing any sort of outside activity I am always up for anything, and I enjoy hanging out with my family which normally includes playing card games, camping, or just having dinner together and watching a movie.

Do you have any game day superstitions?
Yes, whenever I leave the house for a game or even an important practice, tryouts, or a tournament. My dad says play hard before I leave and I make sure he does every time. And it isn't that I wouldn't play hard either way, it is just something we have always done, so now it has turned into a superstition.

Favorite motivational quote?
My favorite motivational quote is actually one that I came up with, which is "It is better to have a correction than a what if." I really value this quote because it reminds me to make decisions and trust my skills, and even if it doesn't always work out, that's okay because then I can look back and correct or change that decision, compared to having a "what if" where you question yourself or there are millions of different things "you could have done".

What are you looking forward to the most for the 2026 field hockey season?
I am looking forward to just continuing to work, perfecting the skills that I have, and continuing to grow as the game does.

A favorite field hockey memory?
I have so many favorite field hockey memories I don't think I could pick one, but I think any time I get to be in goalie land or have goalie training with my friends is where some of my favorite memories come from.
