We are happy to announce that Morgan Lala has joined the Longstreth/OBO Athlete Program!
Morgan joins us all the way from Kentucky where she plays for the Christian Academy of Louisville and IFHCK Field Hockey. She is a member of the Jr. U.S. Women’s National Indoor Team and was chosen as a top performer at the Max Field Hockey Top 150 Invitational. Fun fact: Morgan has been playing field hockey for 12 years!

What goalkeeping stick do you use and why?
I use the OBO ROBO Straight As in a 37.5. I use the ROBO straight stick because it's light, long for a good reach, and has the perfect balance.
What pads do you prefer and why?
I use the OBO ROBO Hi-Rebound Leg Guards and OBO ROBO Plus Kickers, I like the Hi-Rebound pads because they fit my aggressive style that brings me to the ground a lot. The ROBO Plus Kickers are my favorite because of the toe box!
How long have you been playing field hockey and what made you first want to start playing?
I have been playing field hockey for 12 years now. I started playing goalkeeper because my big sister was a goalie too!
Any pre-game rituals?
HYPE music!
Go-to pre-game meal?
Tazikis/Mediterranean food!
Go-to gameday hairstyle?
Double dutch braids

How would you describe your goalkeeping style in 3 words or less?
Aggressive, direct, intentional
What do you like to do outside of field hockey?
Hang out with friends and do cycling classes!
