Kennedi has been playing field hockey since she was 5 years old and was recently selected to play at the AAU Junior Olympic Games and Junior Nexus Championship’s in 2023 and 2024. She is also a member of Focus Field Hockey Club and plays for her school team, Grafton Middle School.

Gryphon Taboo Striker Samurai because of the power and how easy it is to maneuver the ball.

How long have you been playing field hockey and what made you first want to start playing?
I started playing field hockey when I was 5 years old. My mom played and wanted me to try it, I immediately fell in love.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Hand shakes with my teammates.
What's your go-to pre game meal?
Pasta, spaghetti and lasagna for dinner the night before are my favorites.
What is your go-to game day hairstyle?
I love a singe bubble in a pony tail or sometimes I will braid two or three braids in my pony tail and then bubble it up!

Grit, fast, attacking
What do you like to do when you are not playing field hockey? I
enjoy hanging with my friends and family.

If you could give your younger self a piece of advice, what would it be?
I would tell myself don’t be afraid to make mistakes in practice or in games. Always try new things that will help to expand your skills and never give up.
What is your favorite field hockey memory?
I have so many but I think my most favorite field hockey memory was my first reverse shot goal, I was 10. It was at Virginia Beach Bash 2021. I was so scared to try it but I’m so glad I did!
