Welcome, Katelyn Dulin, to the Longstreth Athlete family as our newest TK Brand Ambassador!

From Barto, PA, Katelyn is a junior at Michigan State who wasted no time this season — scoring her first collegiate goal in week one against Ohio! Over the summer, she took her skills to the Senior Nexus Championship, proving she’s as competitive as they come.

What type of stick do you use, and why did you choose it?
I use the TK U1 Late Bow because of the control and precision on the field it brings, while also giving lots of power.
Do you have a grip preference? If so, which grip and why do you like it?
I use the original TK grip and have never had a problem with it!
How long have you been playing field hockey, and what made you first want to start playing?
I started playing field hockey in second grade. My dad came home with a flyer for a field hockey camp, and I have loved it ever since!
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I always wear my HocSocx that have dogs on them for game days!
What's your go-to pre-game meal?
My go to pre-game meal is yogurt, granola, and fruit.
What is your go-to game day hairstyle?
I either love two Dutch braids back into a ponytail or a slick back bun.

Aggressive, gritty, tenacious
What do you like to do when you are not playing field hockey?
When I am not playing field hockey, I enjoy being outdoors at my mountain house, going on walks with my mom, watching my sister’s field hockey games, and spending time with family and friends.
Do you have any game day superstitions?
I always have to wear my watch on my left wrist

If you could give your younger self a piece of advice, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self that all the sacrifices and time spent with field hockey are 100% worth it in the future, and those sacrifices are what set you apart from the others.
What is your favorite field hockey memory?
My favorite field hockey memory is when I started my first game as a Spartan, and we beat Ball State.
