Fun Facts:

What stick do you use and why did you choose it?
I use Ritual Velocity 95. I love how lightweight and powerful it is. It gives me great control and quick release, which works well with my playing style.

Do you have a grip preference? If so, which grip and why do you like it?
I typically use a Karakal grip. It gives me the perfect combination of comfort and grip, especially when it's hot or raining and my hands get sweaty or wet.

How long have you been playing field hockey, and what made you first want to start playing?
I have been playing field hockey for around 11-12 years. I started playing in 2nd grade when my best friend started, and we wanted to play together, and I loved it and have stuck with it ever since.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I always listen to music and do a little stick work to get my hands warm before warm-ups.

What's your go-to pre-game meal?
I don’t have a specific day-of pregame meals, but the night before, I always eat some type of pasta.

What is your go-to game day hairstyle?
My go-to game day hairstyle is a slick back ponytail with a classic braid to keep the hair out of my face.

Favorite pump-up song(s) to listen to before a game?
I don’t have a favorite, but some go-tos are “All of the Lights” and “Run This Town”

Describe your playing style in three words?
Driven, Fast, Precise

What do you like to do when you are not playing field hockey?
I like hanging out with friends, swimming, and hanging out with my family.

Do you have any game day superstitions?
I don’t have any game day superstitions, but for club, I wore the same socks since U12 (and I washed them after playing, don’t worry!)

What is your favorite motivational quote?
“If you're passionate about something and you work hard, then I think you will be successful.”

If you could give your younger self a piece of advice, what would it be?
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes; that's how you grow and learn.

What is your favorite field hockey memory?
I don’t have a specific memory, but I always enjoy spending time with my team at tournaments, getting food, hanging out in the hotel, and shopping! Another memory I love is winning championships in my junior year, when everyone thought we wouldn’t be able to accomplish it.
