A goalkeeper from Haddon Heights, New Jersey, Emily has been a keeper for over 10 years! Following a standout freshman season at Rutgers University, she earned Big Ten All-Freshman Team honors and was recognized with both Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week awards. Emily also represents the USA U21 Women's National Team and recently competed at the Junior Pan American Cup.

What stick do you use?
I use the OBO Robo Straight As stick. I love how lightweight it is, as well as the sleek appearance!
What legguards, kickers & helmet do you use?
I use the OBO Robo Plus legguards and kickers, and the black OBO FG helmet. I chose them because they protect me the best, and give me better control in my movement.
How long have you been a keeper, and what made you first want to start playing?
I’ve been playong for 10 years. I participated in a youth clinic when I was 9 where my mom was coaching, she said they needed a goalie so I put the pads on and immediately fell in love.
Any pre-game rituals?
Before every game, you will find me in a corner with my headphones on. My playlist has stayed the same for years, and it always gets me mentally ready for gametime.
Go-to pre-game meal?
Avocado toast and a small bowl of fruit
Go-to game day hairstyle?
I love a braided ponytail or low bun; they tend to hold up best under my helmet.
3 words to describe your playing style?
Aggressive, quick, and flexible
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not playing hockey?
I love spending time with my friends and family, listening to music, and shopping!
Any game day superstitions?
I don’t have any hardcore superstitions, but I won’t go anywhere without my headphones!

Earning MVP at my first collegiate tournament last spring!
