Fun Facts:

What type of stick do you use, and why did you choose it?
I chose the TK Deluxe Late Bow stick because of how it felt comfortable and easy to play with when I first tried it. I also liked the balance of being able to control the ball well while also being able to hit.

How long have you been playing field hockey, and what made you first want to start playing?
I have been playing hockey for around 8-9 years. I found field hockey when I was trying out different sports back in 3rd grade. When I joined rec field hockey for the first time, I fell in love with it, and I have been playing ever since!

Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I take a sip of water before I get on the field any time during the game, whether it’s before I sub someone or I get on the field after half-time.

What's your go-to pre-game meal?
My go-to pre-game meal would probably be Caesar salad or a sub with Gatorade. I also almost always grab a banana to eat, especially when I need to eat a quick, light meal before a game.

What is your go-to game day hairstyle?
I always put it in a high ponytail with one hair tie in the middle of my hair

Favorite pump-up song(s) to listen to before a game?
Probably Can’t Hold Us by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis

Describe your playing style in three words.
I would describe my playing style as Speed, Aggressive, and Skill.

What do you like to do when you are not playing field hockey?
I love hanging out with family and friends whenever I have time! I’m also someone who likes to be active, so I like to do different sports and activities, such as running, pickleball, and swimming!

Do you have any game day superstitions?
A game day superstition that I have is that I can’t eat any acidic fruits or pasta before I play.

What is your favorite motivational quote?
A motivational quote that sticks with me is “It’s all about the journey, not the outcome,” said by Carl Lewis.

If you could give your younger self a piece of advice, what would it be?
Find the biggest to the smallest reasons why you love playing field hockey: when you find them, it changes the mental perspective of the sport and can really help you grow in your play!

What is your favorite field hockey memory?
When it was my last rec season before moving up to high school, my team and I won every single game and tournament we played without letting a single goal in the entire season! It was a great way to close the last rec season with my teammates, with whom I’ve been playing for years.
