Brinkley is heading into her sophomore year at the University of Maryland after making an impact during her freshman season, seeing plenty of action and tallying an assist and 3 shots on goal! More recently, she was named to the 2026 NFHCA National Academic Squad!

When did you start playing field hockey?
I started playing field hockey in 2nd grade, my mom played field hockey in college and she inspired me.

Hike, spend time with family and friends, pickleball, cook, read
Do you have any game day superstitions?
I always put on my socks, shin guards, and turf shoes starting with my left foot. I put everything on my left side first.

If you could give your younger self a piece of advice, what would it be?
Slow down, be present, and enjoy the little moments. One day, you’ll look back and realize how quickly it all went by.

Winning 3 state championships in high school with my sister
