We are excited to welcome Allie Fink into the Longstreth Athlete Program as the newest Gryphon Ambassador! Allie is from Palmyra, Pennsylvania and attends Palmyra High School. She plays club for PA United and was recently selected for U18 Nexus Championship and is also a Max Field Hockey Class of 2029 Top 100 Player to Watch.

What stick do you use and why do you choose it?
I am excited to use my new Gryphon Blue Steel D2. I am able to easily perform 3D skills, and the weight felt comfortable to me.
How long have you been playing field hockey and what made you first want to start playing?
Since Kindergarten! My parents signed me up, and I fell in love with the game.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I always do the same warmups.
What's your go-to pre-game meal?
Any type of plain pasta and fruit.
What is your go-to game day hairstyle?
Slick back bun
Favorite pump-up song(s) to listen to before a game?
Any Rhianna or Justin Bieber songs
Describe your playing style in three words?
Fast, Aggressive, Selfless
What do you like to do when you are not playing field hockey?
Hang out with friends, work out, and try new foods.
Do you have any game day superstitions?
In high school games, if I hit the post with the ball, I drop my stick to prevent bad luck.
What is your favorite motivational quote?
I don’t have a quote, but my high school team uses SCIJ principles (Strength, Courage, Intensity, Joy), which I strive to have each time I play.
If you could give your younger self a piece of advice, what would it be?
Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there for tryouts and college clinics.
What is your favorite field hockey memory?
Winning both States and Districts with my high school team my freshman year!
