Join us in welcoming Allena Jaworski to the Longstreth Athlete Program as our newest OBO Ambassador!

From Mount Airy, Maryland, Allena is a senior at Linganore High School and a 3A State Champion, earning an impressive list of accolades, including Frederick County Defensive Player of the Year, Maryland All-State Defensive POY, and All-State, All-Frederick County, and All-CMC First Team honors. She also competes at the club level with Warhawks and is committed to Liberty University.

What stick do you use and why?
I use the OBO ROBO Straight As for control, balance and power while making saves!

What legguards, kickers, and helmet do you use and why?
I choose to play with ROBO gear because it offers me the most protection while playing at the highest level!

How long have you been playing field hockey, and what made you first start playing as a goalie?
I have been playing for 8 years and actually lost a game of rock-paper-scissors in 7th grade rec, started playing goalie, and have stuck with it ever since!

Go-to pre-game meal?
A cold cut Jersey Mike’s sub!

Go-to game day hairstyle?
Two top Dutch braids into a low bubble braid!

Favorite pump-up song?
Applause by Lady Gaga and Blow by Kesha

Describe your playing style in 3 words?
Composed, aggressive, gritty

What do you like to do when you’re not playing field hockey?
I own, raise, and exhibit dairy goats with 4H and FFA!

Game day superstitions?
To have cute hair!

Favorite motivational quote?

What are you most looking forward to for the upcoming season?
Being able to fly on corners on the indoor court

Favorite field hockey memory?
Winning the region 7 U14 RCC in shootouts!
