Three programs, one episode! Turf Talk is BACK with another special episode featuring players and coaches from Boston College, Bloomsburg University, and the University of Virginia.

Catch weekly episodes of Turf Talk every Wednesday during the fall field hockey season.

The episode begins with a Division II spotlight on Bloomsburg University. Leah interviews Head Coach Nikki Hartcraft alongside her team captains. Coach Hartcraft discusses their standout season anchored by seven shutouts and strong defensive corner executions, led by goalkeeper Molly and flyer Alex. Captain Alex shares the challenge of balancing field hockey with her nursing clinicals, while captain Hannah reflects on her role as a Longstreth ambassador and her passion for organizing the team's Special Olympics dedication game.

Next, the focus shifts to Division I as the show visits Boston College. Associate Director of Sports Medicine Meg McMillan explains how BC utilizes the Catapult GPS tracking system to monitor player workloads, optimize conditioning, and successfully reduce soft-tissue injury risk. Following the sports medicine breakdown, Eagles standout athletes Leila and Caroline hit the pitch to demonstrate tactical aerial and sweep receiving drills. They discuss adapting to new NCAA rules regarding defender spacing, navigating the Carol School of Management curriculum, and the balance required to thrive as a dual-sport athlete.
