We’re back with another episode of Turf Talk! Host Leah Secondo is joined by two Olympians this week to discuss all things college field hockey and the recent Paris Olympics.

Ally Hammel was a member of the 2024 Paris Olympic Squad. She talks with Leah a little bit about what that journey was like including the ups and downs of training and being away from friends and family. Ally is also a Longstreth Sponsored Athlete!

Tracey Fuchs is Head Coach at Northwestern University and a former Olympian as well. Tracey Fuchs is the winningest head coach in Northwestern Field Hockey history and her team is off to a very strong start this 2024 season which Leah breaks down. Tracey is considered one of the Michael Jordan’s in field hockey. She’s won NCAA championships both as a player and coach and serving as a leader on the United States National Team for nearly two decades. Fuchs was on staff as an assistant coach for a Team USA squad that captured its first-ever Pan American Games gold medal and earned an automatic bid to the 2012 Olympics in London.
