Episode 4 of Turf Talk is live! Host Leah Secondo sat down with two special guests this week to discuss some of the most anticipated games happening in college field hockey and breaking down recent games.

Head Coach of Millersville Field Hockey Team, Shelly Behrens joins Leah today. Shelly is the most winningest coach in Millersville history! Her team has appeared in six PSAC Championship games, winning the 2013 and 2016 titles, and have reached the NCAA Tournament five times. We appreciate Shelly taking time out of her day to chat with Leah on the show!

In honor of National Umpire Week starting next week (October 6-12th), Leah’s second guest is USA Field Hockey’s Director of Umpiring, Sean Rapaport. Sean was recently awarded the Golden Whistle Award by the International Hockey Federation on October 6th. Officials can earn this award by completing their 100th official senior international match. Way to go, Sean!

This week’s featured High School Highlight was from a clip from The Kinkaid School (#5) vs. The Hill School (#1) game. The game was played during the Max Field Hockey/Longstreth National High School Invitational. The second half save by Kinkaid defender, off of a Hill corner play to go back to the inserter, Riley Savage. Hill led 1-0 at the half and won 2-0 in regulation.
