It is Week 3 of Longstreth’s High School Highlight Reel! Check out our Top 5 Plays featuring the following athletes:
- Earning the fifth spot in the highlight reel is Scottie Stanec. She is a freshman at John Burroughs High School in St. Louis, Missouri, and scored an impressive reverse goal in a 5-2 win over Ladue High School.
- #4 on our Top 5 Plays features goalkeeper Lila Seifert. Lila plays for Fairfax High School in Fairfax, Virginia. In the field hockey team’s overtime win against the nationally ranked Oakton Cougars, she had many saves, clears, and a shutout. Her highlight features a save in a 1v1 scenario in the circle late in the game.
- Marley Klein’s highlight is our third best play of the week from Westview High School in San Diego, California. Thanks to a pass from teammate Karen Padilla, Marley plays the ball out of the air and into the goal. This goal tied the game, which ultimately ended in a win for Westview in shootouts.
- Our second best highlight features Jocelyn Hart who deflects a hit from her teammate on a corner into the goal for a 1-0 Cherry Hill East from Cherry Hill, New Jersey win over Rancocas Valley.
- The #1 play for the September 27 High School Highlight Reel is a lifted goal from Aubrey Krawczun. This goal from Aubrey was not only a spectacular skill but a goal that sent her Downingtown East Field Hockey team, of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, into overtime against West Chester East.
