From the opening whistle, the game was a fast-paced battle of skill, speed, and strategy. The South team struck first, with Jordyn Hollamon (Delmar High School – DE) opening the scoring in the first quarter off a reverse chip shot. The North responded quickly, leveling the score before the end of the first quarter with a goal from Kathryn Gauvin (Moses Brown School – RI), assisted by Riley Savage (The Hill School – PA). The South team struck again late in the first quarter when Brinkley Eyre sent a perfectly placed cross ball into the circle, where Abby Davidson executed a one-time finish to put South ahead 2-1. Just minutes later, Karsin Beatty ripped a powerful forehand shot that ricocheted off the goalkeeper’s pads and into the cage, extending South’s lead to 3-1 and capping off a dominant first quarter.

At the start of the second quarter, Team North earned a penalty corner and made it count, as Sophia Sisco (West Essex High School – NJ) fired a forehand shot that was expertly tipped into the cage by Gabby Santini (Lakeland High School – NY), cutting South’s lead to 3-2. Both teams continued to battle fiercely through the remainder of the second quarter, but despite several close chances, neither side was able to break through, sending the game into halftime with the score still at 3-2 in favor of the South.
Both teams came out of the locker rooms fired up to start the second half. However, it was Brinkley Eyre (Glenelg High School – MD) who made the early impact, ripping a forehand shot into the cage to extend South’s lead to 4-2 early in the third quarter. The remainder of the third quarter saw strong defensive stands from both sides, with no additional goals scored as the South held onto their 4-2 lead heading into the final quarter.
Team North came out strong to start the fourth quarter, earning a penalty corner that they capitalized on with a sharp pass from Caroline Powell (The Episcopal Academy – PA) to Aimee Largoza (Downingtown West High School – PA), who redirected it into the cage to narrow South’s lead to 4-3. Lastly, Team South capitalized on a late fast break when Faith Everett (Broadneck High School – MD) got a quick touch on the ball, which trickled past the goalkeeper and into the cage, sealing the 5-3 victory and concluding the scoring.
The game not only highlighted the depth of talent in the 2025 graduating class but also set a high bar for future editions of the Longstreth Senior All-American Game. With standout performances from both sides, the event was a celebration of the sport and a fitting send-off for these senior stars.
