Kealsie’s Goalkeeping Drill
The name of the game is Goalie Wars (at least that’s what the National team calls it)! The objective is to Enhance goalkeeping skills, quick decision-making, and teamwork under high-pressure conditions. Each team consists of three field players and one goalkeeper. One extra player stands at the halfway mark to alternate passing.
Field Layout: Set up two goals. One on the normal baseline and one opposite at the top of the circle.
Mark the sidelines on each side from the 5-yard dash mark.
Start playing: At the halfway mark, the extra player passes to one of the goalkeepers to initiate play. The goalkeeper then passes to their team to start a new ball.

Game Play: A new ball is played each time a goal is scored or if the ball goes out of bounds.
-Goalkeepers are allowed to score on the opposite goals.
-Field player goals are worth 1 point. Goalkeeper goals are worth 2 points.
Focus points: Quick transitions from defense to offense. Goalkeepers practicing distribution and scoring. -Teamwork and communication under pressure.
-Maintaining high energy and intensity throughout the session.
