My name is Kiera Sack, and I am excited to be working with Longstreth this year on all things field hockey. I am from Havertown, Pennsylvania, and have been playing field hockey for the past nine years. Most recently, I was named a First Team All-American by MAX Field Hockey and by the NFHCA. This year, I will be starting my senior year at the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur and will begin my fall training and indoor season with WC Eagles.
As an intern this year at Longstreth, I will be sharing weekly posts that involve how to grow the game together, discuss important game principles, identify helpful mindset tips, and share my own experiences from the game. This company has always been a cornerstone for field hockey players—whether it is the go-to for equipment, gear, or just a trusted space that keeps the sport moving forward. Getting to be even a small part of that feels like the perfect way to give back to a game that has given me so much.
Beyond writing posts, I am honored to be working on Turf Talk with Leah Secondo, a pioneer in broadcasting and the premier voice for field hockey broadcasting in the United States. Leah’s voice and knowledge have always been such an impactful presence in the sport, and I am looking forward to learning from her and contributing to those conversations.
Thank you for reading, and I am excited about what lies ahead! Stay tuned for more content, and thanks again for joining me on this journey!
