All three of the Divisions of the New Hampshire State Championships’ winners were crowned. Keene High School earned the Division I title.
For the first time ever, the Keene Blackbirds came out victorious in a state tournament. A goal scored early in the fourth quarter by Olive Thatcher propelled Keene over the second-ranked Dover after several competitive games throughout the entire postseason for both teams in the final.
Their goal in the beginning of the season was to make it to the final for just the third time in program history. Keene did not only do that but concluded a perfect season with a Championship.
