Cary Christian School and their field hockey team have made a name for themselves by winning the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association State Championship for the first time ever. The score of the final game against Charlotte Country Day School was 2-0.

Cary Christian had a phenomenal 2024 season, going 16-0 and ending the season by achieving their premier goal of winning the state. They defeated all opponents 2-0 in the playoffs, including Forsyth Country Day and Providence Day before Charlotte Country Day.

This championship game was a rematch from last year, in which Charlotte Country Day actually came out on top 2-0. Congratulations to the Cary Christian Knights on this impressive victory and undefeated season!
