Longstreth’s High School Highlight Reels: Week 2

It is Week 2 of Longstreth’s High School Highlights, Powered by TK! Take a look at some incredible plays submitted by high school field hockey players from across the country. Submit your highlights to Admin@MaxFieldHockey.com for a chance to be featured! 

5. #5 in the weekly highlights is Rowan Casey, who scored an impressive reverse off a rebound from a goalie save after following up on her own initial shot from a corner play. Rowan Casey plays for Thomas Worthington High School in Worthington, Ohio. 

4. Our #4 highlight features Megan Maynard, a junior at South Carroll High School in Sykesville, Maryland. After a series of one-touch passes, Megan Maynard rockets a goal past the Catoctin High School goalie in an 11-0 win. 

3. Addison Lamb gets the credit for the third best play this week thanks to some impressive skills cutting into the circle and lifting the ball into the top of the net for the first goal in her team’s competition against Ss. Peter and Paul. Addison is a sophomore at Severn School in Severna Park, Maryland. 

2. Paige Sanborn, a 2027 recruit out of Archbishop Spalding in Severn, Maryland, makes an incredible pass between the legs of her and her defender with her back turned to her teammate in the circle as our #2 weekly play. 

1. Liv Bateman, from South Western High School in Hanover, Pennsylvania earns the top play of the week from a rebound deflection in the air for a goal. Her teammate Andrea Edwards took a reverse shot that was blocked by the opposing goalkeeper but ultimately tipped into the back of the net by Bateman.
