Dexter vs Chelsea – Michigan, 9/26
Chelsea (#9, Mid/Mid West) and Dexter #15 (WMW) met up again on 9/26, after a 2-2 tie, and a 5-2 Dexter victory earlier in the season. Dexter came away with the victory this time with a 2-0 result. Both goals were scored by Aiden Weinmann -- both with less than 4:00 to play in the game! Allie St. Amour assisted on the second goal.
Keely Tamer, Dexter Head Coach, said games between these two rivals are always competitive, and last week’s was another fast-paced matchup. She also gave a nod to both Braiden Scheffler (2025 Ball State commit) and Kahlen Eckert from Chelsea for having stand-out games. Coach Tamer called Aiden Weinmann, Lily Mitchell, and Daphne Grant key contributors for Dexter.
Libby Timberlake had 5 saves for Chelsea and Audrey Owen-Smith had 3 saves for Dexter.

10/2 - #5 (NewEng) Walpole (MA) vs #25 Uxbridge (MA)
Walpole and Uxbridge have only met once before, during the 2023 season. Uxbridge came away with the victory in that 1-0 game, and BOTH teams went on to win the State Championship in their respective division. Uxbridge Coach Kelly Rosborough says she is “expecting big plays and performances from 3 time state champion players: Junior Julianna Casucci, Senior Captain Ellie Bouchard, Junior Kendall Gilmore, and Junior Amelia Blood.” Sounds like the beginning of a great rivalry! We can’t wait to see what happens in their second-ever match up.
